Amazing dress!

This dress is sexy, elegant, and head turning all at the same time. I bought it to wear to a wedding. The material is of high quality and hugs your curves in all the right places. I feel like I could have gone with a M if I wanted the dress to fit tighter, but I like that the L looks fitted but doesn't feel too tight, very comfortable!

I tried it immediately. It was beautiful. The material, fit, color, stitches, quality, everything was perfect. It is soo comfy because of material and lightweight but not see trough at all. Beautiful Dress for a Beautiful Occassion

I was excited to receive this lovely dress. It was chosen for a specific event. It is surely true to size. I ordered a Large, it is not snug at all, and has room. Im 5' 3", 185lbs. Oh, and the Customer service is also good, they were helpful in getting my order in time.

Gorgeous and comfy

I really love this dress. I am 5’8”, 160lbs curvy and I ordered a M. It is flattering to my body shape and hides all of my problem areas! Very lightweight but not so thin that you can see through it. The best thing is it is comfy and classy!

The Inspiration

In February 1947, Christian Dior introduced the first major postwar collection, called the "Carolle Line"", but soon dubbed the "New Look" by American journalists in Life Magazine. The collection was a repudiation of the styles of the 1920s and 1930s, and it was also clearly indebted to the styles and body-shapers of the late 19th century. Featuring rounded shoulders, a cinched waist, a very full skirt, the "New Look" celebrated ultra-femininity and opulence in women's fashion.
Inspired by Dior’s “Bar” Suit and Alla Ilchun’s (one of Dior’s most popular models) style, we sewed one of our most glamourous pieces – the Alla dress. It features a fitted bodice with a nipped-in waist and a full calf-length skirt, a design that embraces the very essence of 50s fashion.
