Alla is a mini version of our vintage pleated midi dress inspired by Jackie Kennedy’s 60s style. It features an elegant buttoned top with a sweetheart neckline, a cinched-waist cut, and a mini A-line skirt. Which color will be yours? The Inspiration

In February 1947, Christian Dior introduced the first major postwar collection, called the "Carolle Line", but soon dubbed the "New Look" by American journalists in Life Magazine. The collection was a repudiation of the styles of the 1920s and 1930s, and it was also clearly indebted to the styles and body-shapers of the late 19th century. Featuring rounded shoulders, a cinched waist, a very full skirt, the "New Look" celebrated ultra-femininity and opulence in women's fashion.

Inspired by Dior’s “Bar” Suit and Alla Ilchun’s (one of Dior’s most popular models) style, we sewed one of our most glamourous pieces – the Alla dress. It features a fitted bodice with a nipped-in waist and a full calf-length skirt, a design that embraces the very essence of 50s fashion.
